Fernando Selatse made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Through an outstanding action, after 7 minutes, Fernando Selatse successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. In the 8th minute of the match AC LeX Luthor got a corner. Despidida AFC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pancho Branca ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Alvaro Raymond had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Maurício Bomba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Raymond in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th minute of the match Despidida AFC got a corner. AC LeX Luthor's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emanuel Lucila ran over to the corner to take the kick. Despidida AFC's Emanuel Lucila was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Maurício Bomba in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Fernando Selatse made a fantastic save in the 21st minute, when Alvaro Errando sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse got control of the ball when D.J. 赵云 tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alvaro Raymond might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Maurício Bomba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alvaro Raymond ran back to his position shaking his head. 29 minutes into the match, AC LeX Luthor's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Raymond came free, but Maurício Bomba reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julian Boni hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 33rd minute, Alvaro Raymond ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Maurício Bomba was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Fernando Selatse took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Alberto Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 45 minutes into the match, Alvaro Raymond notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of AC LeX Luthor's Maurício Bomba. Maurício Bomba was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alvaro Raymond made a kick off. Fernando Selatse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alvaro Errando in the 53rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Alvaro Errando's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Fernando Selatse was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. In the 59th minute Alvaro Errando shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fernando Selatse saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Despidida AFC defense, Alvaro Errando kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fernando Selatse. The Despidida AFC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fernando Selatse should have stopped the shot. Despidida AFC's Dinu Ivănescu was substituted for Ancho Branca. Despidida AFC made a substitution. Pastor Tino replaced Kajetan Gdowik. Despidida AFC's Fernando Selatse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by D.J. 赵云 in the 68th minute of play. A collision led to Despidida AFC getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Cain Velasquez hit a great ball. AC LeX Luthor made a substitution. Cod Whatman replaced Alvaro Errando. In the 72nd minute, Cain Velasquez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maurício Bomba made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Emiliano Velasco sent off a good shot on target. Maurício Bomba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dinu Ivănescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. 77 minutes into the match, Pastor Tino dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Maurício Bomba, 3-3. Tolek Chazen fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fernando Selatse having to interfere. AC LeX Luthor's Maurício Bomba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dinu Ivănescu in the 91st minute of play. A sloppy throw-in by Gabriel Silban in the 92nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by AC LeX Luthor's Matias Porfiro. In the 93rd minute, Tolek Chazen left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC LeX Luthor fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-3. Despidida AFC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
