Ernesto Varela breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 卡納里尼奧 FC's Carlos Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rômulo Neves in the 23rd minute of play. 25 minutes into the match, ITAFUT 4EVER's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Pernambucano came free, but Ernesto Varela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Agostinho Guedes to make the kick off. Carlos Marinho showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgar Baiano in the 51st minute of the match. In the 54th minute, Edgar Baiano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ITAFUT 4EVER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. 60 minutes into the game, ITAFUT 4EVER's Rômulo Neves nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Carlos Marinho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. In the 67th minute, Edgar Baiano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ITAFUT 4EVER fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Through an outstanding action, after 84 minutes, Ernesto Varela successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 卡納里尼奧 FC's Carlos Marinho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Paulo Munhoz in the 89th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pedro Paulo Munhoz in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Carlos Marinho saved 卡納里尼奧 FC from getting behind. If Edgar Baiano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There was no doubt that ITAFUT 4EVER were the better team. ITAFUT 4EVER's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
