The supporters of Primatas FC booed when Palmares Futebol Clube was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dário Moreira didn't get a good kick on the ball. Gugu Leme was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 19th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Palmares Futebol Clube's Francisco Alagoano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Alcântara in the 22nd minute of play. Francisco Alagoano made a fantastic save in the 24th minute, when Víktor Campidelis sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Palmares Futebol Clube's Thomás Maia got a free kick in the 25th minute. A collision led to Primatas FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Noel de Amaral hit a great ball. Kaká Passos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jo Calleri, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Gugu Lemes short, quick shot in the 34thth minute got Francisco Alagoano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 36 minutes into the match, Gugu Leme dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Francisco Alagoano, 2-0. After 38 played minutes Primatas FC got a freekick which was hit by Kauã Faria. Gerson Salles charged in rather forcefully in the 39th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. Primatas FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
