Nilmar de Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. After 22 minutes of play, Palmares Futebol Clube's Jo Calleri made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ismael de Queiroz was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience thought a goal was coming when Jo Calleri got free with Ismael de Queiroz in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jo Calleri in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ismael de Queiroz saved Pragmáticos 1903 from getting behind. Jarbas Porto kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Lefter-Can-Gökdeniz Von Euler-Chelpin took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francisco Alagoano. Francisco Alagoano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. When Rubens Recife fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Palmares Futebol Clube's protests and gave Rubens Recife a yellow card for diving instead. Rubens Recife kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lefter-Can-Gökdeniz Von Euler-Chelpin to strike the kick off in the second half. Vito Furlan took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Francisco Alagoano. Francisco Alagoano dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Renato de Azevedo hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Ismael de Queiroz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Thomás Maia, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. 59 minutes into the match, Jo Calleri notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Pragmáticos 1903's Ismael de Queiroz. Ismael de Queiroz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pragmáticos 1903's Leonel Linhares was substituted for Naldo Barbosa. Vicente Ferraz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 70 minutes, João Carlos Antunes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Palmares Futebol Clube and the Pragmáticos 1903 players grew even worse after the yellow card. 75 minutes into the match, Jo Calleri had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ismael de Queiroz. Pragmáticos 1903's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jo Calleri was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-2. Francisco Alagoano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lefter-Can-Gökdeniz Von Euler-Chelpin in the 82nd minute of play. Thomás Maia scored 5-2 in the 85th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ismael de Queiroz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Pragmáticos 1903's Leonel Linhares got a free kick in the 90th minute. Francisco Alagoano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leonel Linhares in the 93rd minute of the match. Luizinho Zonta's late challenge caught a Palmares Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luizinho Zonta helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Pragmáticos 1903's Luizinho Zonta got a free kick in the 95th minute. Palmares Futebol Clube's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
