Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-3 lead.

WZG Sandomierz were awarded a corner in the 70th minute after Vancouver Reds's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Mariusz Basaik took the corner. A well done corner resulted in Mete Tavukcu drilling the ball in to score 1-4 behind Vancouver Reds's goalkeeper. 77 minutes into the match, Nicolás Castillo notched a goal, 2-4, to the right of WZG Sandomierz's Constantin Mudura. Constantin Mudura was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Amédée Gillis kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 83rd minute, Amédée Gillis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute, Jimmy-Floyd Hasselbaink made a precise shot to the right of Omar Duardo. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched WZG Sandomierz eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
