Urbano Chinto did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Vincenzo Landa 13 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the match, AFC CERBEROS's Anacleto Sanchez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vincenzo Landa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. AFC CERBEROS's Mauro Joachim played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Osmar Goiano in the 21st minute of play. The Ciudad Tao FC fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Ciudad Tao FC's Rasmus Jönsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Vincenzo Landa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Felix Azibar in the 26th minute. Mauro Joachim showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Miron Zabel in the 37th minute of the match. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Miron Zabel stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rasmus Jönsson in the 51st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mauro Joachim prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 53 minutes of play, AFC CERBEROS's Anacleto Sanchez made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vincenzo Landa was left in no man's land by his defense there! 56 minutes into the match, Osmar Goiano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mauro Joachim, 2-4. Ciudad Tao FC made a substitution. Joel Sandström replaced Osmar Goiano. The Ciudad Tao FC fans' excitement grew in the 65th match minute when Ciudad Tao FC's Tomas Ciudad looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-5 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 68th minute Tomas Ciudad shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauro Joachim saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Ciudad Tao FC booed when AFC CERBEROS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carmelo Saturnin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vincenzo Landa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anacleto Sanchez in the 71st minute of play. Rasmus Jönsson hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. Tomas Ciudad received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Mauro Joachim came out and tried to block the shot, but Tomas Ciudad slotted it home off the left post making it 2-6 in the 80th minute. Joel Sandström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mauro Joachim having to interfere. Tomas Ciudad could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Mauro Joachim made a huge save. The throw-in from Clemente Teodor in the 89th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Ciudad Tao FC's Joel Sandström. After 93 played minutes Tomas Ciudad rounded AFC CERBEROS's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-7.
