Ramiro Mendivil made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Herbert Ahlgren sent off a good shot on target. A throw-in in the 18th minute of the game was made by Urban Molin with Dan Åkesson as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. After having played for 32 minutes, Herbert Ahlgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Galatasaray GS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Herbert Ahlgren was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Dan Åkesson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ramiro Mendivil was relentless in the 35th minute of the game. Urban Molin's late challenge caught a GiudeCCa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Urban Molin helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of GiudeCCa booed when Galatasaray GS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urban Molin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute, Xzavier Olaondo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The GiudeCCa fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1.

The wind increased when Herbert Ahlgren made the kick off in the second half. If Xzavier Olaondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rios Figueruel's late challenge caught a Galatasaray GS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ramiro Ibisate in the 71st minute of play forced Galatasaray GS's goalkeeper Kurt Tham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dan Åkesson in the 73rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ramiro Mendivil saved GiudeCCa from getting behind. In the 76th minute, Xzavier Olaondo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Urban Molin made in the 84th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gustav Wahlnäs immediately put the ball in play. When Dan Åkesson came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Galatasaray GS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dan Åkesson couldn't finish the play. In the 89th minute Dan Åkesson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramiro Mendivil saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Leif Smitt hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in GiudeCCa's zone, Herbert Ahlgren stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramiro Mendivil came out of the goal and Herbert Ahlgren tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 98 minutes, Herbert Ahlgren managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal.
