Patrick Cestarolli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Oswaldo Ramos having to interfere. FC Rogers Sosnowiec's Wawrzyniec Dzierwa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anselmo Ganix in the 30th minute of play. Severo Paton might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wawrzyniec Dzierwa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wawrzyniec Dzierwa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anselmo Ganix in the 68th minute.
