The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A collision led to Szczakowianka getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Leszek Pawlik hit a great ball. With a little luck, Szczakowianka's Erdi Bender got control of the ball when Tomasz Sobania tried to sneak it across the goal line. Tomasz Sobania might have been able to make a better finish in the 35th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Erdi Bender. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tomasz Sobania ran back to his position shaking his head. Tomasz Sobania could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Erdi Bender made a huge save. Damazy Kensicki showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radowit Ogrodowicz, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. In the 38th minute Luis Elequemedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damazy Kensicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 40th minute Benedykt Perkowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damazy Kensicki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Soczewki Gliwice players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Szczakowianka were winning 1-2.

Soczewki Gliwice's Damazy Kensicki proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 53rd minute of the match, managed to save Soczewki Gliwice from getting a goal against them. In the 87th minute Henk Cardinaal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Erdi Bender saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Edgar Matela hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 93 minutes into the game, Bogumil Babicki cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-2. Erdi Bender was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Soczewki Gliwice had won after a very even match.
