But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iwan Brysz couldn't finish the play. After 64 minutes Bociany SA's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Iwan Brysz who took care of the corner kick. Torsten Flink might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Oswaldo Ramos. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Torsten Flink ran back to his position shaking his head. Bociany SA's Anselmo Ganix got a good chance for a goal in the 68th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Norbert Dombroski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severo Paton in the 72nd minute of the match.
