The referee showed Berk Hürkan the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mutlu Umay fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Staffan Lind having to interfere. In the 7th minute Ingvar Engström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berat Kamaci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Linköpings AIK's Staffan Lind proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Linköpings AIK from getting a goal against them. After a defensive mix-up in CaPLooNBa's zone, Valter Källberg stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Berat Kamaci came out of the goal and Valter Källberg tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Michael Åhlberg in the 13th minute of play forced CaPLooNBa's goalkeeper Berat Kamaci to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Berat Kamaci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Engström in the 14th minute of play. In the 16th minute, Michael Åhlberg made a precise shot to the right of Berat Kamaci. CaPLooNBa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Michael Åhlberg during the 19th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Michael Åhlberg kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Staffan Lind took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mutlu Umay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 22nd minute Ingvar Engström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berat Kamaci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Michael Åhlberg had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Berat Kamaci. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michael Åhlberg in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Berat Kamaci saved CaPLooNBa from getting behind. 37 minutes into the match, Valter Källberg notched a goal, 0-4, to the right of CaPLooNBa's Berat Kamaci. Berat Kamaci was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Berat Kamaci made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Michael Åhlberg in the 40th minute of play. Berat Kamaci showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Engström in the 43rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Michael Åhlberg in the 44th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Berat Kamaci prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th minute Ingvar Engström shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Berat Kamaci saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. During the 46th minute of the match Michael Åhlberg completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Michael Åhlberg a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 47 played minutes Linköpings AIK got a freekick which was hit by Michael Åhlberg. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Bayhan Rıza to make the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ingvar Engström got free with Berat Kamaci in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 55 played minutes Linköpings AIK got a freekick which was hit by Rickard Hedlund. CaPLooNBa's Berat Kamaci played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Valter Källberg in the 59th minute of play. 61 minutes into the match, CaPLooNBa's goalkeeper Berat Kamaci had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ingvar Engström. In the 63rd minute Bayhan Rıza shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Staffan Lind saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anıl Mücahit Yalınayak hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Styrbjörn Svensson struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. Berat Kamaci didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Linköpings AIK. When the match was over Linköpings AIK could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than CaPLooNBa throughout the match.
