The referee ignored Flamengo FC's protests and gave Rony Andrade a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Flamengo FC's Rony Andrade got a free kick in the 4th minute. The supporters of Flamengo FC booed when FK LIQENORET was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elmaz Hysi didn't get a good kick on the ball. FK LIQENORET's Hajredin Kamberi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abelardo Fantini in the 10th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arlindo Leão in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hajredin Kamberi saved FK LIQENORET from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as FK LIQENORET's Eris Aliu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Serginho Azevedo. That made the score 1-0 after 14 minutes of play. 20 minutes into the game, Erigerti Divjaka was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FK LIQENORET's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Flamengo FC the free kick. The supporters of Flamengo FC booed when FK LIQENORET was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erigerti Divjaka didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to FK LIQENORET getting a freekick after 29 minutes play. Elmaz Hysi hit a great ball. Beto de Barros kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. The Flamengo FC fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Flamengo FC's Arlindo Leão looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind FK LIQENORET's goalkeeper Hajredin Kamberi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Flamengo FC's Serginho Azevedo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eris Aliu in the 39th minute of play. Hajredin Kamberi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manfredo Freire in the 41st minute of the match. Mustafa Dabulla recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Hajredin Kamberi came out of the goal in the 48th minute to try and stop a shot by Flamengo FC's Arlindo Leão. But to his dismay, Arlindo Leão quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The wind increased when Arlindo Leão made the kick off in the second half. Serginho Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mustafa Dabulla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Arlindo Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Manfredo Freire managed to get in a good position for a shot. Flamengo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Manfredo Freire was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hajredin Kamberi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Elmaz Hysi kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Serginho Azevedo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eris Aliu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 72 minutes, Eris Aliu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK LIQENORET and the Flamengo FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 73rd match minute, FK LIQENORET was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eris Aliu to maneuver through the defense. Hajredin Kamberi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arlindo Leão in the 75th minute of the match. Arlindo Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 80 played minutes FK LIQENORET got a freekick which was hit by Genti Piqoni. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abelardo Fantini in the 84th minute of play forced FK LIQENORET's goalkeeper Hajredin Kamberi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 86 played minutes Flamengo FC got a freekick which was hit by Abelardo Fantini. Serginho Azevedo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eris Aliu in the 90th minute of play. After 93 minutes, Arlindo Leão made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. FK LIQENORET's Hajredin Kamberi tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Arlindo Leão's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 98thth minute, Hajredin Kamberi skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Flamengo FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
