The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. SANTOS F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 30 minutes into the match, Inácio Munhoz notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of SANTOS F.C's Antonio Swiderski. Antonio Swiderski was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 43rd match minute, CRISDIELDAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ivo Souza to maneuver through the defense.

53 minutes into the match, SANTOS F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Antônio Carlos Tande came free, but Antonio Swiderski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute Gonçalo da Silveira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eriberto Moura saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Antônio Carlos Tande blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Antonio Swiderski having to make a save. If Sandrinho Nóbrega had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 87 minutes of play, CRISDIELDAN's Antônio Carlos Tande made it 1-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Antonio Swiderski was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 94th match minute, CRISDIELDAN was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osmar Arruda to maneuver through the defense. CRISDIELDAN played a much better game than SANTOS F.C and deserved their victory. The SANTOS F.C players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
