Veli Irak was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 45th minute, Gencer Sayrak made a precise shot to the right of Marian Bălan. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 6-1. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 6-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Corneliu Druga to make the kick off. FC Ceahlaul Piatra Neamt's Marian Bălan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gencer Sayrak in the 85th minute of play. Marian Bălan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gencer Sayrak, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Gencer Sayrak's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marian Bălan was relentless in the 88th minute of the game.
