The Koniec Gry fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wojciech Szczęsny should have stopped the shot. Pim van Gaal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th match minute, Koniec Gry was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Wladyslaw Mios to maneuver through the defense. Kacper Wnukowski received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Teun Gierman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Wojciech Szczęsny tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 34 minutes into the game, Nadzieja Speed Elblag's Pim van Gaal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Wojciech Szczęsny made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 37 played minutes Nadzieja Speed Elblag got a freekick which was hit by Stef Graaff. After 40 played minutes, Nadzieja Speed Elblag's Johan Heuving shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Wojciech Szczęsny came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Nadzieja Speed Elblag reached it. If Pim van Gaal had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wojciech Szczęsny didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pim van Gaal went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kacper Wnukowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Stef Graaff hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. When Andy Scholte fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Nadzieja Speed Elblag's protests and gave Andy Scholte a yellow card for diving instead. 64 minutes into the match, Nadzieja Speed Elblag's goal looked a bit too open when Kacper Wnukowski came free, but Teun Gierman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pim van Gaal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Teun Gierman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kacper Wnukowski in the 88th minute of play. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Koniec Gry lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
