Corinthians Paulista's goal looked a bit too open when Arnoldo Paio came free, but Armando Teixeira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Erubiel Evangelista received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Armando Teixeira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Erubiel Evangelista in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armando Teixeira saved S.C. Corinthians Paulista from getting behind. 20 minutes into the game, Baldomiro Maria was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. LOS PECES DEL INFIERNO Ψ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave S.C. Corinthians Paulista the free kick. After a rather tough play, LOS PECES DEL INFIERNO Ψ's Baldomiro Maria got a free kick in the 20th minute. The long shot by Adalberto Veloso in the 21st minute really tested Luisito Gelacio's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Luisito Gelacio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego da Cunha, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Armando Teixeira was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luisito Gelacio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Matías de Moraes in the 30th minute. S.C. Corinthians Paulista's Armando Teixeira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erubiel Evangelista in the 40th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Adalberto Veloso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luisito Gelacio was relentless in the 54th minute of the game.
