An unexpectedly hard shot by Ediberto Xavier in the 19th minute of play forced Inacio F.C.'s goalkeeper Generoso Cordarin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After having played for 22 minutes, Marcel Queirós managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Generoso Cordarin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ. Inacio F.C.'s Generoso Cordarin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 80th minute of the match, managed to save Inacio F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 83rd minute Agnaldo Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Cordarin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Doriva Simões took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Carlos Eduardo Passos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Inacio F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Marcel Queirós came free, but Generoso Cordarin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Reginaldo Borges could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Generoso Cordarin made a huge save. Marcel Queirós struck a weak shot in the 93rd minute. Doriva Simões made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-4. The Inacio F.C. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
