Spectators: 7637 (Terracing: 5729, Seating: 1756, VIP seats: 152) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Marcin Nigbor started the match with the kick off. Marcin Nigbor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ma Yong Jun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcin Nigbor, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. Karen FC's Ma Yong Jun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Waldemar Andrzejewski in the 10th minute of play. In the 15th minute of the match FC Latające Siekiery got a corner. Karen FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Marcin Nigbor ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that Marcin Nigbor got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ma Yong Jun quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Miromir Skwira didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bon Guidetti went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Miromir Skwira came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Karen FC's Bon Guidetti. But to his dismay, Bon Guidetti quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. After 31 played minutes FC Latające Siekiery got a freekick which was hit by Teofil Sawicki. Waldemar Andrzejewski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 32nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 37 played minutes FC Latające Siekiery got a freekick which was hit by Waldemar Andrzejewski. Waldemar Andrzejewski sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 45th minute, Waldemar Andrzejewski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ma Yong Jun was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

FC Latające Siekiery's Miromir Skwira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bon Guidetti in the 55th minute of play. The supporters of FC Latające Siekiery booed when Karen FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Calle Wanner didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 58th minute, FC Latające Siekiery's Marcin Nigbor dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Miromir Skwira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bon Guidetti, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bon Guidetti went to the cornerflag to take it. When Filip Koperski came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the FC Latające Siekiery fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Filip Koperski couldn't finish the play. 80 minutes into the match, Filip Koperski had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ma Yong Jun. Karen FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Filip Koperski was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Filip Koperski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ma Yong Jun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 84th minute of play. If Calle Wanner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
