Spectators: 7474 (Terracing: 5607, Seating: 1718, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alvaro Niguel started the match with the kick off. Angelo Chumo kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. After 3 played minutes, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Júnior Tinoco shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Camilo Gagriel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ reached it. Huckebein's Angelino Ixona got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Huckebein's Humberto Gimenez got a free kick in the 14th minute. 17 minutes into the match, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goal looked a bit too open when Angelino Ixona came free, but Doriva Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Agnaldo Sampaio got a free kick in the 28th minute. Doriva Simões didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alvaro Niguel went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 33rd minute Angelo Chumo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Doriva Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Humberto Gimenez was slow to take the kick. During this time Huckebein's players had a chance to rest. The corner went over the outstretched arms of CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goalie and right to Elpidio Luar. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The supporters of CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ booed when Huckebein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Humberto Gimenez didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 40 played minutes CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by José Maria Macedo. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Niguel in the 42nd minute of play forced CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's goalkeeper Doriva Simões to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Marcel Queirós in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. With a little luck, Huckebein's Camilo Gagriel got control of the ball when Marcel Queirós tried to sneak it across the goal line. Júnior Tinoco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Camilo Gagriel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Camilo Gagriel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marcel Queirós in the 70th minute. Angelino Ixona kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. When Reginaldo Borges fell near the penalty area in the 79th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's protests and gave Reginaldo Borges a yellow card for diving instead. After some careless play in the Huckebein defense, Marcel Queirós kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Camilo Gagriel. The Huckebein fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Camilo Gagriel should have stopped the shot. 85 minutes into the match, Huckebein's goalkeeper Camilo Gagriel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Marcel Queirós. 87 minutes into the match, Huckebein's goal looked a bit too open when Ediberto Xavier came free, but Camilo Gagriel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Alvaro Niguel fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Huckebein's protests and gave Alvaro Niguel a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Huckebein's Alvaro Niguel got a free kick in the 96th minute. Camilo Gagriel was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 97th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Júnior Tinoco. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
