In the 14th minute, Marcel Queirós got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 16 played minutes CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ got a freekick which was hit by Agnaldo Sampaio. Doriva Simões made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Placido Goizeder in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th minute, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Agnaldo Sampaio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Andres Ignatius. Andres Ignatius yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Andres Ignatius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabrício Miranda in the 24th minute of play. 27 minutes into the match, Antonio Phelipe notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Doriva Simões. Doriva Simões was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fabrício Miranda in the 31st minute of play forced Belgrano de Pibasog's goalkeeper Andres Ignatius to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 40 minutes into the match, Antonio Phelipe notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Doriva Simões. Doriva Simões was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antonio Phelipe to make the kick off. The supporters of Belgrano de Pibasog booed when CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júnior Tinoco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 52nd minute, Yan Chong Yue hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Fabrício Miranda got a free kick in the 58th minute. CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Natã Koehler was substituted for Ediberto Xavier. In the 62nd minute, Belgrano de Pibasog's Raul Bibiano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-3. Doriva Simões came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Belgrano de Pibasog's Antonio Phelipe. But to his dismay, Antonio Phelipe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. Andres Ignatius made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcel Queirós in the 77th minute of play. After 78 played minutes Belgrano de Pibasog got a freekick which was hit by Placido Goizeder. Andres Ignatius showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Agnaldo Sampaio in the 79th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Raul Bibiano got free with Doriva Simões in the 82nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ's Doriva Simões got control of the ball when Antonio Phelipe tried to sneak it across the goal line. Saverio Baumar kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. A collision led to CA Metropolitano - FSCMZ getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Júnior Tinoco hit a great ball. In the 97th minute Agnaldo Sampaio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andres Ignatius saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Belgrano de Pibasog eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
