In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Polar Ice Caps's goalkeeper Henry Blom, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 40th minute Vello Pontuss shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Henry Blom saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Polar Ice Caps's Maximiliano Eron got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After the first half Beto Martini MZ 20 years were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Beto Martini MZ 20 years's Bernard Fedosz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petter Wikander in the 58th minute of play. When Petter Wikander fell near the penalty area in the 59th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Polar Ice Caps's protests and gave Petter Wikander a yellow card for diving instead. Petter Wikander sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Wiktor Ugla made in the 66th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Sivert Sander however managed to control. Henry Blom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Noel Duarte in the 68th minute of the match. Noel Duarte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Henry Blom read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Noel Duarte in the 81st minute of play forced Polar Ice Caps's goalkeeper Henry Blom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 84th minute, Noel Duarte reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Henry Blom. The goal made the score 0-2. Henry Blom made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vello Pontuss in the 87th minute of play. Jochen Gijselinx kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match.
