Şemsettin Tanaltay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Petter Wikander, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 26th minute the ball was on its way in behind Polar Ice Caps's goalkeeper Henry Blom, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Henry Blom showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mehmet Efe Vefik in the 68th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Efe Vefik in the 70th minute of play forced Polar Ice Caps's goalkeeper Henry Blom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Maximiliano Eron managed to get in a good position for a shot. Polar Ice Caps's supporters rose to their feet, but Maximiliano Eron was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. After some careless play in the Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ defense, Maximiliano Eron kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Şemsettin Tanaltay. The Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Şemsettin Tanaltay should have stopped the shot. After having played for 89 minutes, Maximiliano Eron managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Polar Ice Caps's supporters crossed their fingers, but Maximiliano Eron was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Michael Hjelm's late challenge caught a Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Michael Hjelm helped the player get up and apologised. Michael Hjelm kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Polar Ice Caps had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
