After 37 played minutes FMArgentina got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Oton. The audience was convinced that Garip Tanfer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Romulo Ursino was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 62nd minute, Hernando Gijon ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Kağan Tunçöven was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After 65 minutes, Mustafa Kemal Rezzak mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ and the FMArgentina players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 65th match minute, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mustafa Kemal Rezzak to maneuver through the defense. The corner led Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Umut Ortun to fire away a dangerous shot which Romulo Ursino despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a little luck, Kᴇᴛᴇɴçᴀʏɪʀ's Kağan Tunçöven got control of the ball when Hernando Gijon tried to sneak it across the goal line. The FMArgentina supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing FMArgentina would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
