Nechifor Cucerdean hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. In the 14th minute the ball was on its way in behind Club Vertigo's goalkeeper Nikulás Benediktsson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Oylimpiamos Ψ's Evis Rafecas got a free kick in the 15th minute. Kiko Pirani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikulás Benediktsson having to interfere. Nikulás Benediktsson made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Kiko Pirani sent off a good shot on target. 30 minutes into the match, Oylimpiamos Ψ's Kiko Pirani sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nikulás Benediktsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Kiko Pirani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Oylimpiamos Ψ's zone, Sabin Corcoveanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olentzaro Barrantes came out of the goal and Sabin Corcoveanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olentzaro Barrantes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabin Corcoveanu in the 39th minute of the match. Nikulás Benediktsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kiko Pirani in the 40th minute of play. A collision led to Oylimpiamos Ψ getting a freekick after 42 minutes play. Mikelats Planes hit a great ball. Sabin Corcoveanu struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Olentzaro Barrantes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Club Vertigo. Club Vertigo's Nikulás Benediktsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Club Vertigo from getting a goal against them. 46 minutes into the game, Sabin Corcoveanu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Olentzaro Barrantes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Kiko Pirani made the kick off in the second half. Kiko Pirani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Nikulás Benediktsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kusko Bernabeytia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 62 minutes into the match, Kiko Pirani notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Club Vertigo's Nikulás Benediktsson. Nikulás Benediktsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Oylimpiamos Ψ's Kiko Pirani was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Nikulás Benediktsson in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. 76 minutes into the match, Club Vertigo's goal looked a bit too open when Kiko Pirani came free, but Nikulás Benediktsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 83 minutes, Kiko Pirani put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Nikulás Benediktsson. The supporters of Oylimpiamos Ψ booed when Club Vertigo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 88 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sabin Corcoveanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Kiko Pirani came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Oylimpiamos Ψ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kiko Pirani couldn't finish the play. 95 minutes into the game, Oylimpiamos Ψ's Kiko Pirani nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Nikulás Benediktsson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. Oylimpiamos Ψ's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
