Spectators: 7486 (Terracing: 5615, Seating: 1722, VIP seats: 149) Club Vertigo's Sabin Corcoveanu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Süruri Tahir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nikulás Benediktsson having to interfere. Costică Dindelegan kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. If Tamer Torhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 18 minutes, Benedicto Savier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bozkurt's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benedicto Savier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Club Vertigo's Nistor Iftimescu got a free kick in the 25th minute. Panait Hațegan hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when İbrahim Ethem Kapar got free with Nikulás Benediktsson in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 34thth minute of the game Sabin Corcoveanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bozkurt's Boran Gencal was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benedicto Savier in the 36th minute of play forced Club Vertigo's goalkeeper Nikulás Benediktsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 37 minutes into the match, Bozkurt's goal looked a bit too open when Nistor Iftimescu came free, but Boran Gencal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Feyyaz Uçar struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Nikulás Benediktsson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bozkurt. Boran Gencal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sabin Corcoveanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sabin Corcoveanu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Boran Gencal having to make a save. Boran Gencal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sabin Corcoveanu in the 46th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Feyyaz Uçar to make the kick off. Benedicto Savier scored 1-1 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nikulás Benediktsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Boran Gencal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sabin Corcoveanu's shot from short distance in the 64th minute. After 64 minutes, Sabin Corcoveanu made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Bozkurt's Boran Gencal tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Sabin Corcoveanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 75th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Boran Gencal made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sabin Corcoveanu in the 79th minute. Boran Gencal was out of position in the 80 minute of play, and Sabin Corcoveanu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Sabin Corcoveanu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-4. When Damian Tirulescu fell near the penalty area in the 84th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Vertigo's protests and gave Damian Tirulescu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Bozkurt booed when Club Vertigo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Damian Tirulescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bozkurt's Feyyaz Uçar got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Nikulás Benediktsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Feyyaz Uçar, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Club Vertigo's Sabin Corcoveanu got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Club Vertigo's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
