In the 20th minute Telmo Manglano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boran Gencal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Boran Gencal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kiko Pirani, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th match minute, Bozkurt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sinan Ateş to maneuver through the defense. With his leg Boran Gencal managed to avoid a goal in the 31stth minute, when Oylimpiamos Ψ's Kiko Pirani fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 33 minutes into the game, Bozkurt's Benedicto Savier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Olentzaro Barrantes made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Olentzaro Barrantes came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Bozkurt's Feyyaz Uçar. But to his dismay, Feyyaz Uçar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Boran Gencal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kiko Pirani in the 39th minute of play. If Kiko Pirani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

55 minutes into the match, Oylimpiamos Ψ's goal looked a bit too open when Benedicto Savier came free, but Olentzaro Barrantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Boran Gencal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kiko Pirani's shot from short distance in the 57th minute. Olentzaro Barrantes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feyyaz Uçar, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Kiko Pirani came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Oylimpiamos Ψ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kiko Pirani couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Bozkurt booed when Oylimpiamos Ψ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rosalio Larrinoa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Olentzaro Barrantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feyyaz Uçar in the 76th minute of play. Oylimpiamos Ψ's Olentzaro Barrantes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Oylimpiamos Ψ from getting a goal against them. Süruri Tahir walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Feyyaz Uçar got free with Olentzaro Barrantes in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 94th minute Kiko Pirani shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Boran Gencal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Perfecto Castaosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Bozkurt eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
