Nikulás Benediktsson made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Denis Ispovednikov sent off a good shot on target. In the 3rd minute, Galatasaray SK's Denis Ispovednikov ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Nikulás Benediktsson. Nikulás Benediktsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After having played for 13 minutes, Sorin Macrea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Vertigo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sorin Macrea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Remus Greavu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Club Vertigo's Nikulás Benediktsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mikhail Guschin in the 18th minute of play. In the 22nd minute Romeo Galiceanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stanislav Kaiturov saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stanislav Kaiturov took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sorin Macrea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Galatasaray SK's Stanislav Kaiturov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sorin Macrea in the 25th minute of play. The Club Vertigo fans' excitement grew in the 40th match minute when Club Vertigo's Remus Greavu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to Galatasaray SK getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Danila Melnikov hit a great ball. Club Vertigo's Remus Greavu got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 48 minutes into the match, Remus Greavu notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Galatasaray SK's Stanislav Kaiturov. Stanislav Kaiturov was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Romeo Galiceanu was the one to do the kick off. In the 61st minute, Narcis Popoiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a rather tough play, Galatasaray SK's Danila Melnikov got a free kick in the 68th minute. Iulian Lovin hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. 74 minutes into the match, Mikhail Guschin notched a goal, 3-2, to the right of Club Vertigo's Nikulás Benediktsson. Nikulás Benediktsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 78th minute, Romeo Galiceanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stanislav Kaiturov was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-3. Stanislav Kaiturov was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Romeo Galiceanu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-4 in the 83 minute of play. Stanislav Kaiturov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Remus Greavu in the 88th minute of the match. In the 90th minute, Romeo Galiceanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stanislav Kaiturov was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-5. Galatasaray SK's Stanislav Kaiturov played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Remus Greavu in the 98th minute of play. The Galatasaray SK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Club Vertigo were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
