In the 12th minute Perfecto Castaosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damián Martínez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Oylimpiamos Ψ's Evis Rafecas got control of the ball when Michael Ballack tried to sneak it across the goal line. Perfecto Castaosa struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Aznaro Algorta received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. The Arsenal FC fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when Arsenal FC's Carlos Vela looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 6-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Oylimpiamos Ψ's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
