Spectators: 7454 (Terracing: 5591, Seating: 1714, VIP seats: 149) Rangers FC's Raymond Johnston started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. A hard shot by Bradley Carr from long distance, 4 minutes into the match, got Joaquin Mingo's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. After a rather tough play, Rangers FC's Tyler McCraw got a free kick in the 6th minute. Joaquin Mingo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tyler McCraw, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Fergus Fairbairn took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Erubiel Laurin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Darius Bontine hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 23rd minute Joel Rumaldo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fergus Fairbairn saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Rangers FC's Patrick Sporran got a free kick in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Logan McCubbin in the 34th minute of play forced Sportivo Luan Toro's goalkeeper Joaquin Mingo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fergus Fairbairn came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Sportivo Luan Toro's Joel Rumaldo. But to his dismay, Joel Rumaldo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Joaquin Mingo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tyler McCraw in the 43rd minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Joel Rumaldo to strike the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Rangers FC's Fergus Fairbairn got control of the ball when Erubiel Laurin tried to sneak it across the goal line. Joel Rumaldo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Fergus Fairbairn made a huge save. Fergus Fairbairn showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Rumaldo, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Sportivo Luan Toro's Joaquin Mingo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raymond Johnston in the 78th minute of play. The supporters of Sportivo Luan Toro booed when Rangers FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darius Bontine didn't get a good kick on the ball. Joel Rumaldo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Fergus Fairbairn came out and tried to block the shot, but Joel Rumaldo slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 88th minute. The Rangers FC fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Sportivo Luan Toro were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
