The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 45 minutes into the game, Eduardo Muno was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sportivo Luan Toro's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Estrela Solitária the free kick. After the first half Estrela Solitária were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

After 54 played minutes Sportivo Luan Toro got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Muno. After 72 played minutes Sportivo Luan Toro got a freekick which was hit by Lino Gerazan. When Túlio Maravilha fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Estrela Solitária's protests and gave Túlio Maravilha a yellow card for diving instead. Túlio Maravilha hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute Lino Gerazan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmi Saksinen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquin Mingo was out of position in the 84 minute of play, and Marco van Basten capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marco van Basten really showed his touch with that goal: 0-3. In the 87th minute, Meng Ran hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 93rd minute Lino Gerazan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anselmi Saksinen saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Estrela Solitária's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
