Luís Linhares lost his temper 12 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 11th minute of the game. One of O MOTIVO ⚽:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Tirense F.C.:s goal. Dida Braga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gilberto Garcia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Tirense F.C.'s Willian Cunha got a free kick in the 17th minute. Válter Mattos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Enéas Arruda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. 23 minutes into the match, Tirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Enéas Arruda had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardo de Salles. Válter Mattos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enéas Arruda having to interfere. Enéas Arruda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo de Salles in the 31st minute of the match. Enéas Arruda came out of the goal in the 31st minute to try and stop a shot by O MOTIVO ⚽'s Bernardo de Salles. But to his dismay, Bernardo de Salles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Bernardo de Salles blasted a shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Enéas Arruda having to make a save. Bernardo de Salles could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Enéas Arruda made a huge save. After 42 minutes, Willian Cunha mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tirense F.C. and the O MOTIVO ⚽ players grew even worse after the yellow card. Willian Cunha hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Dida Vidal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Enéas Arruda acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 47th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Kaká da Silva. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Gilberto Garcia to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Otávio Leme in the 52nd minute of play forced Tirense F.C.'s goalkeeper Enéas Arruda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Enéas Arruda didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Otávio Leme went, in the 52nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. When Alberto Abraão fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tirense F.C.'s protests and gave Alberto Abraão a yellow card for diving instead. After 58 played minutes Tirense F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Gilberto Garcia. Tirense F.C.'s Enéas Arruda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válter Mattos in the 59th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Tirense F.C.'s zone, Válter Mattos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Enéas Arruda came out of the goal and Válter Mattos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bernardo de Salles hit a great freekick 62 minutes into the match. Enéas Arruda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otávio Leme in the 66th minute of play. Válter Mattos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Bernardo de Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Otávio Leme struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Enéas Arruda didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for O MOTIVO ⚽. 76 minutes into the match, O MOTIVO ⚽'s Otávio Leme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Enéas Arruda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 77th minute of the match O MOTIVO ⚽ got a corner. Tirense F.C.'s goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Kaká da Silva ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 87th minute Otávio Leme shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enéas Arruda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dida Braga came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Tirense F.C.'s Gilberto Garcia. But to his dismay, Gilberto Garcia quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. After a rather tough play, Tirense F.C.'s Willian Cunha got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Dida Braga showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Willian Cunha in the 94th minute of the match. A hard shot 96 in the game by Gilberto Garcia from a close distance when the talented Dida Braga managed to make a qualified save. O MOTIVO ⚽'s players were relieved. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. O MOTIVO ⚽ fully deserved thier win.
