Hortêncio Sena showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Válter Mattos in the 7th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rasgun Cool in the 9th minute of play forced O MOTIVO ⚽'s goalkeeper Dida Braga to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Fred Luz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Wágner Mota hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The crowd rose to their feet as Mitnarotov FC's Rasgun Cool slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dida Braga. That made the score 1-0 after 17 minutes of play. O MOTIVO ⚽'s Bernardo de Salles got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Otávio Leme scored 1-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Hortêncio Sena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Hortêncio Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Otávio Leme in the 27th minute of play. If Kaká da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mitnarotov FC's Rasgun Cool got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in O MOTIVO ⚽'s zone, Rasgun Cool stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dida Braga came out of the goal and Rasgun Cool tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rasgun Cool scored 2-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dida Braga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Mitnarotov FC's Bruninho Carvalho got a free kick in the 37th minute. After 42 played minutes O MOTIVO ⚽ got a freekick which was hit by Kaká da Silva. 45 minutes into the match, O MOTIVO ⚽'s goalkeeper Dida Braga had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Fred Luz. Hortêncio Sena stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Kaká da Silva's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Kaká da Silva was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Válter Mattos got free with Hortêncio Sena in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Germano Siqueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Dida Braga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Válter Mattoss short, quick shot in the 66thth minute got Hortêncio Sena to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Kaká da Silva let the left foot speak when in front of goal in the 67th minute shot 2-2 at rihgt post. With a little luck, Mitnarotov FC's Hortêncio Sena got control of the ball when Kaká da Silva tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hortêncio Sena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kaká da Silva in the 72nd minute of play. Kaká da Silva could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Hortêncio Sena made a huge save. With a little luck, Mitnarotov FC's Hortêncio Sena got control of the ball when Otávio Leme tried to sneak it across the goal line. After having played for 87 minutes, Rasgun Cool managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mitnarotov FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rasgun Cool was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Germano Siqueira came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Mitnarotov FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Germano Siqueira couldn't finish the play. After 96 minutes, Germano Siqueira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mitnarotov FC and the O MOTIVO ⚽ players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Mitnarotov FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Germano Siqueira hit a great ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
