Spectators: 7504 (Terracing: 5629, Seating: 1726, VIP seats: 149) Fernando Waterreus started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Naci Ünüvar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Joseph in the 8th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, S.C. Potentia's goal looked a bit too open when Lucas Joseph came free, but Naci Ünüvar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 13th match minute, S.C. Potentia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Geale van den Brink to maneuver through the defense. If Gregor Ranzijn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a rather tough play, POCASPULGAS's Fabian Pacho got a free kick in the 16th minute. After a defensive mix-up in POCASPULGAS's zone, Ruud Schokkenbroek stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alonzo Milio came out of the goal and Ruud Schokkenbroek tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Geale van den Brink fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored S.C. Potentia's protests and gave Geale van den Brink a yellow card for diving instead. Ruud Schokkenbroek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alonzo Milio having to interfere. S.C. Potentia's Naci Ünüvar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lucas Joseph in the 28th minute of play. S.C. Potentia's defense didn't have a chance, in the 38th minute, when Bartolo Leobardo scored to the left of an out of position Naci Ünüvar, making the score, 1-0. 44 minutes into the match, S.C. Potentia's goalkeeper Naci Ünüvar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Lucas Joseph. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Bartolo Leobardo made the kick off in the second half. Naci Ünüvar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucas Joseph, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Lucas Joseph hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Gregor Ranzijn struck a weak shot in the 63rd minute. Alonzo Milio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for S.C. Potentia. Alonzo Milio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fernando Waterreus in the 66th minute of play. Alonzo Milio was out of position in the 66 minute of play, and Fernando Waterreus capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Fernando Waterreus really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. When Ruud Schokkenbroek came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the S.C. Potentia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ruud Schokkenbroek couldn't finish the play. Gregor Ranzijn recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Naci Ünüvar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lucas Joseph, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, S.C. Potentia's Casper Thole got a free kick in the 77th minute. 79 minutes had been played when some careless play by S.C. Potentia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Lucas Joseph was slow to take the kick. During this time POCASPULGAS's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to S.C. Potentia getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Gregor Ranzijn hit a great ball. Naci Ünüvar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucas Joseph in the 85th minute of play. After 89 minutes, Jesper Håkansson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.C. Potentia and the POCASPULGAS players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, S.C. Potentia's Jesper Håkansson got a free kick in the 89th minute. Fernando Waterreus scored 1-2 in the 92nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alonzo Milio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 96 minutes, Ruud Schokkenbroek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. S.C. Potentia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ruud Schokkenbroek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Alonzo Milio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernando Waterreus, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. S.C. Potentia walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
