Sven-Ove Thedin started the match with the kick off. When Sven-Ove Thedin came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Ghost Hunters fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sven-Ove Thedin couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Ove Thedin got free with William Svanér in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 8 minutes into the game, Sten Tidéksson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Boca Juniors's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ghost Hunters the free kick. Sten Tidéksson hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Sven-Ove Thedin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 13th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Ove Thedin got free with William Svanér in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Boca Juniors's attentive Sten Tidéksson managed to snatch the ball when Niclas Abrahamsson made a throw-in in the 20th minute of the game. In the 31st minute, Boca Juniors's Konrad Palm seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Konrad Palm the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Boca Juniors protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Konrad Palm had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 32nd minute there was a penalty for Ghost Hunters. Sven-Ove Thedin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving William Svanér. 1-0.

51 minutes into the match, Sven Bäckman notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Boca Juniors's William Svanér. William Svanér was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. William Svanér took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Ove Thedin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sven Bäckman kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 91st match minute, Ghost Hunters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven-Ove Thedin to maneuver through the defense. William Svanér showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Ove Thedin in the 94th minute of the match. When Karl-Magnus Skark fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Boca Juniors's protests and gave Karl-Magnus Skark a yellow card for diving instead. In the 95th match minute, Boca Juniors was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl-Magnus Skark to maneuver through the defense. William Svanér made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Ove Thedin in the 96th minute of play. Boca Juniors's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
