Sven-Ove Thedin recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ghost Hunters's Sven-Ove Thedin got a good chance for a goal in the 14th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Leszek Moryl hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. The referee felt a red card was in order, 24 minutes into the game, when Jurand Solecki put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Wisła Kraków:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Ghost Hunters:s goal. In the 27th minute there was a penalty for Ghost Hunters. Sven-Ove Thedin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Walery Jaruzelski. 0-2. Ghost Hunters's Sven-Ove Thedin got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Walery Jaruzelski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sven-Ove Thedin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Åke Gustafsson made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Tadeusz Skorny sent off a good shot on target. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gert Håkansson during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. If Sven-Ove Thedin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Walery Jaruzelski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sven-Ove Thedin in the 43rd minute of play. The attack was good, but when Sven-Ove Thedin in the 45th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. In the 46th match minute, Wisła Kraków was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Kiszkiel to maneuver through the defense. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Sven-Ove Thedin got free with Walery Jaruzelski in the 55th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Edvin Pihlblad fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ghost Hunters's protests and gave Edvin Pihlblad a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Ghost Hunters getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Edvin Pihlblad hit a great ball. After 60 played minutes Ghost Hunters got a freekick which was hit by Gert Håkansson. 62 minutes into the match, Ghost Hunters's goal looked a bit too open when Tadeusz Skorny came free, but Åke Gustafsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 63rd match minute, Ghost Hunters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jakob Lind to maneuver through the defense. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Sven-Ove Thedin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 75th minute of the match, but Walery Jaruzelski made a huge save. Walery Jaruzelski was a little too slow when Edvin Pihlblad got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 78th minute. The score was now 0-4. Edvin Pihlblad hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. A collision led to Ghost Hunters getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Edvin Pihlblad hit a great ball. Edvin Pihlblad fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walery Jaruzelski having to interfere. Åke Gustafsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tadeusz Skorny, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. The Ghost Hunters supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Ghost Hunters would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
