With a little luck, All Boys 22's Benicio Ignazio got control of the ball when Nando de Alcântara tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Dudu Borges's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benicio Ignazio was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. All Boys 22's Benicio Ignazio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save All Boys 22 from getting a goal against them. Alfonso Harkaitz hit a great freekick 13 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute Eber Ludeña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Österlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Catugi FC's Dudu Borges slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Benicio Ignazio. That made the score 2-0 after 19 minutes of play. Folke Österlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Andres Umea in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andres Umea in the 30th minute of play forced Catugi FC's goalkeeper Folke Österlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Eber Ludeña shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Folke Österlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcel Travassos charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Marcel Travassos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 45th match minute, Catugi FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Travassos to maneuver through the defense. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

Reginaldo Veiga kicked well hit freekick during the 50th minute of the match. In the 56th minute of the match, Eber Ludeña got a very nice opportunity to score, but Folke Österlund was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Folke Österlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from João Francisco Freire, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Folke Österlund was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Andres Umea showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 59 minute of play. In the 62nd play minute Eber Ludeña came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Folke Österlund. 2-2. Eber Ludeña scored 2-4 in the 79th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Folke Österlund, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Luiz Fernando Abraão hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. In the 84th minute, Nando de Alcântara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
