Spectators: 7499 (Terracing: 5625, Seating: 1725, VIP seats: 149) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dudu Borges started the match with the kick off. Ghost Hunters's Åke Gustafsson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 3rd minute of the match, managed to save Ghost Hunters from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Ghost Hunters's Åke Gustafsson got control of the ball when Dudu Borges tried to sneak it across the goal line. Catugi FC were awarded a corner in the 6th minute after Ghost Hunters's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Tiaguinho Fernandez took the corner. With a little luck, Ghost Hunters's Åke Gustafsson got control of the ball when Nando de Alcântara tried to sneak it across the goal line. Åke Gustafsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dudu Borges, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dudu Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 13th minute, Rune Brovall hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Åke Gustafsson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 14th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tiaguinho Fernandez. Adam Svanér hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Åke Gustafsson made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nando de Alcântara in the 21st minute. In the 22nd minute, Brian Glanselius hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Ghost Hunters's Åke Gustafsson got control of the ball when Nando de Alcântara tried to sneak it across the goal line. 26 minutes into the match, Nando de Alcântara notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ghost Hunters's Åke Gustafsson. Åke Gustafsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Åke Gustafsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nando de Alcântara in the 28th minute of play. Rune Brovall hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Dudu Borges fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Åke Gustafsson having to interfere. Åke Gustafsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reginaldo Veiga in the 34th minute of play. Dudu Borges had several of the Ghost Hunters's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 36 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Åke Gustafsson as he didn't even see the shot coming. Ghost Hunters's Åke Gustafsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dudu Borges in the 39th minute of play. Catugi FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tiaguinho Fernandez in the 40th minute. Dennis Lindkvist's late challenge caught a Catugi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dennis Lindkvist helped the player get up and apologised. In the 45th match minute, Ghost Hunters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dennis Lindkvist to maneuver through the defense. Nando de Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Åke Gustafsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sven-Ove Thedin made a kick off. 51 minutes into the match, Ghost Hunters's goal looked a bit too open when Dudu Borges came free, but Åke Gustafsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ghost Hunters's Åke Gustafsson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dudu Borges in the 52nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Ghost Hunters defense, Nando de Alcântara kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Åke Gustafsson. The Ghost Hunters fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Åke Gustafsson should have stopped the shot. Åke Gustafsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hernani Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. In the 58th minute of the match Aílton Domingues shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Åke Gustafsson showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Reginaldo Veiga in the 67th minute of play forced Ghost Hunters's goalkeeper Åke Gustafsson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sven-Ove Thedin charged in rather forcefully in the 70th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sven-Ove Thedin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 87 minutes into the match, Dudu Borges had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Åke Gustafsson. Ghost Hunters's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dudu Borges was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0. Dudu Borges scored 6-0 in the 91st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Åke Gustafsson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 94thth minute of the game Dudu Borges who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ghost Hunters's Åke Gustafsson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. There was no doubt that Catugi FC were the better team. Catugi FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
