The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Zygmunt Witkowski charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Zygmunt Witkowski the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 6th match minute, Wisła Kraków was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zygmunt Witkowski to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Ghost Hunters's Dennis Lindkvist got a free kick in the 20th minute. In the 23rd minute Zenon Jaroszewicz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Åke Gustafsson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sven Bäckman during the 23rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 24 played minutes Ghost Hunters got a freekick which was hit by Sven Bäckman. After a rather tough play, Ghost Hunters's Rune Brovall got a free kick in the 26th minute. In the 30th minute Sven-Ove Thedin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zachary Zawacki saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Gert Håkansson fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ghost Hunters's protests and gave Gert Håkansson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 31st minute, Gert Håkansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Åke Gustafsson came out of the goal in the 35th minute to try and stop a shot by Wisła Kraków's Zenon Jaroszewicz. But to his dismay, Zenon Jaroszewicz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zenon Jaroszewicz in the 41st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Åke Gustafsson saved Ghost Hunters from getting behind. Åke Gustafsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacek Polakowski, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Zenon Jaroszewicz made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Zenon Jaroszewicz dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Åke Gustafsson, 1-2. In the 56th minute, Ghost Hunters's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Miromir Huchro fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Leszek Moryl's late challenge caught a Ghost Hunters's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Leszek Moryl helped the player get up and apologised. In the 65th match minute, Ghost Hunters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sven Bäckman to maneuver through the defense. Åke Gustafsson made a fantastic save in the 68th minute, when Zenon Jaroszewicz sent off a good shot on target. After 68 minutes, Rune Brovall mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ghost Hunters and the Wisła Kraków players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Ghost Hunters getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Rune Brovall hit a great ball. After 71 minutes of play Ghost Hunters's Sven Bäckman was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 72nd minute, Sven Bäckman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 75 minutes into the match, Ghost Hunters's goalkeeper Åke Gustafsson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zenon Jaroszewicz. Åke Gustafsson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zenon Jaroszewicz in the 80th minute of play. If Dennis Lindkvist had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miromir Huchro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Åke Gustafsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Zenon Jaroszewicz notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Ghost Hunters's Åke Gustafsson. Åke Gustafsson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Miromir Huchro during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Wisła Kraków's Miromir Huchro got a free kick in the 95th minute. When the match was over Wisła Kraków could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Ghost Hunters throughout the match.
