In the 47th minute, Nando de Alcântara left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Catugi FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

After 52 played minutes Catugi FC got a freekick which was hit by Marcel Travassos. Dudu Borges might have been able to make a better finish in the 60th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Hamílton Eger. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dudu Borges ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 60th minute, Hernani Travassos ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Hamílton Eger was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Catugi FC's Folke Österlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luís Paulo Prado in the 68th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Paulo Prado in the 70th minute of play forced Catugi FC's goalkeeper Folke Österlund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 72 minutes into the game, Nando de Alcântara recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Hamílton Eger. Nando de Alcântara showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-6. Hamílton Eger was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Luiz Fernando Abraão capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dudu Borges in the 77th minute of play forced EC AliensCrazy 2023's goalkeeper Hamílton Eger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nando de Alcântara received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Hamílton Eger came out and tried to block the shot, but Nando de Alcântara slotted it home off the left post making it 0-9 in the 85th minute. Dudu Borges recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 89th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 91st minute, Nando de Alcântara reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Hamílton Eger. The goal made the score 0-10. Hamílton Eger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dudu Borges, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Catugi FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
