Spectators: 7509 (Terracing: 5632, Seating: 1727, VIP seats: 150) Benedykt Trzemzalski made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 3rd minute Radomil Andryszyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Svajūnas Božys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Romualdas Podėris who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 14thth minute tested the skills of Fulgencio Ekaitz when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Radomil Andryszyn managed to get in a good position for a shot. KoLiber's supporters rose to their feet, but Radomil Andryszyn was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Svajūnas Božys breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fulgencio Ekaitz stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romualdas Podėris's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Svajūnas Božys showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benedykt Trzemzalski, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. After a rather tough play, Savage Hippo's Valdas Tindžiulis got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Savage Hippo's goalkeeper Svajūnas Božys, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 40th match minute, KoLiber was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Matuch to maneuver through the defense. Fulgencio Ekaitz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romualdas Podėris in the 45th minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Romualdas Podėris made the kick off in the second half. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Benedykt Trzemzalski took a quick shot and it went in 0-1 without a chance for Svajūnas Božys to make any attempt to save it. The crowd rose to their feet as Radomil Andryszyn kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Svajūnas Božys. That made the score 0-2 in the 61 minute of play. Savage Hippo's defense didn't have a chance, in the 67th minute, when Benedykt Trzemzalski scored to the left of an out of position Svajūnas Božys, making the score, 0-3. Adolfas Karpis's late challenge caught a KoLiber's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Adolfas Karpis helped the player get up and apologised. In the 83rd minute, Adolfas Karpis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When the final whistle went the supporters of KoLiber were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Savage Hippo side.
