After 4 minutes, Călin Paulică mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tornadele Siret and the Protegéerna players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 9 minutes, Charlie Apelquist mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Protegéerna and the Tornadele Siret players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Tornadele Siret booed when Protegéerna was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charlie Apelquist didn't get a good kick on the ball. 11 minutes into the game, Protegéerna's Sven Skark nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Petre Vătăşel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Olof Löfkvist blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Petre Vătăşel having to make a save. After some careless play in the Tornadele Siret defense, Sven Skark kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petre Vătăşel. The Tornadele Siret fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petre Vătăşel should have stopped the shot. Holger Johnsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gabriel Beșliu, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 22nd minute, Tornadele Siret's Iustin Iorda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Holger Johnsson. Holger Johnsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. In the 26th minute, Bo-Erik Springfält ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Petre Vătăşel was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. After a rather tough play, Tornadele Siret's Sergiu Răţescu got a free kick in the 29th minute. Petre Vătăşel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sven Skark went, in the 31st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Holger Johnsson made a fantastic save in the 34th minute, when Gabriel Beșliu sent off a good shot on target. Protegéerna's Oscar Löfgren quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Ferdinand Mihălțan, made in the 38th minute of the game. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Bo-Erik Springfält managed to get in a good position for a shot. Protegéerna's supporters rose to their feet, but Bo-Erik Springfält was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petre Vătăşel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tornadele Siret's Petre Vătăşel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Skark in the 40th minute of play. Bo-Erik Springfält sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nicolae Manafu came free with the goalkeeper in the 42nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Holger Johnsson could save by the left post. Olof Löfkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. In the 45th minute, Tornadele Siret's Iustin Iorda ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Holger Johnsson. Holger Johnsson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-4. Disappointed in the 2-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Iustin Iorda stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ferdinand Mihălțan's late challenge caught a Protegéerna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ferdinand Mihălțan helped the player get up and apologised. Ferdinand Mihălțan hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. Tornadele Siret's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Sven Skark 54 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 2-5. 60 minutes into the match, Protegéerna's goal looked a bit too open when Iustin Iorda came free, but Holger Johnsson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes in the game Sergiu Răţescu did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Gabriel Beșliu. Bo-Erik Springfält recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With 72 minutes on the clock, Ioan Culcer commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Tornadele Siret! Olof Löfkvist kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. If Gabriel Beșliu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Tornadele Siret's Iustin Iorda got a free kick in the 97th minute. Protegéerna's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
