Alfredas Klenkys might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Petre Vătăşel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfredas Klenkys ran back to his position shaking his head. Laurynas Šarkauskas received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Petre Vătăşel came out and tried to block the shot, but Laurynas Šarkauskas slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. Petre Vătăşel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romualdas Podėris, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Alfredas Klenkys came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Savage Hippo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfredas Klenkys couldn't finish the play. Romualdas Podėris sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Savage Hippo's Svajūnas Božys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iustin Iorda in the 23rd minute of play. Almantas Kerežis's late challenge caught a Tornadele Siret's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Almantas Kerežis helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Savage Hippo's Almantas Kerežis got a free kick in the 27th minute. Savage Hippo's Alfredas Klenkys got a good chance for a goal in the 60th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Tornadele Siret defense, Romualdas Podėris kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Petre Vătăşel. The Tornadele Siret fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Petre Vătăşel should have stopped the shot. 81 minutes into the game, Romualdas Podėris cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Petre Vătăşel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The audience was convinced that Romualdas Podėris's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Petre Vătăşel was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Romualdas Podėris in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Petre Vătăşel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gabriel Beșliu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Svajūnas Božys tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Savage Hippo's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
