Claudinho Teixeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wlodzimierz Rawa having to interfere. Chan Clet struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Giovanni Lucas didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Green Horses. In the 29th minute of the match Green Horses got a corner. SALIMEN's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antonis Ikonomeas ran over to the corner to take the kick. In the 31st minute, Green Horses's Chan Clet dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Michalis Kapetanos took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 34th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Giovanni Lucas. SALIMEN's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Giovanni Lucas made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonis Ikonomeas in the 37th minute of play. A hard shot 40 in the game by Chan Clet from a close distance when the talented Giovanni Lucas managed to make a qualified save. SALIMEN's players were relieved. Chan Clet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Giovanni Lucas read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Adelino Penha to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 50th minute Chan Clet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovanni Lucas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Green Horses's Wlodzimierz Rawa got control of the ball when Miguel Dantas tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Chan Clet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giovanni Lucas was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. Chan Clet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Giovanni Lucas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chan Clet, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. When Claudinho Teixeira fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SALIMEN's protests and gave Claudinho Teixeira a yellow card for diving instead. Claudinho Teixeira kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. Chan Clet might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Giovanni Lucas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Chan Clet ran back to his position shaking his head. Giovanni Lucas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Chan Clet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 69th minute, Kostas Mitseas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 72nd minute Chan Clet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Giovanni Lucas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Green Horses's Chan Clet in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye SALIMEN's goalie prevented a goal. 77 minutes into the game, Chan Clet cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Giovanni Lucas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Green Horses's Chan Clet got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 84th match minute, Green Horses was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chan Clet to maneuver through the defense. 86 minutes into the match, SALIMEN's goal looked a bit too open when Chan Clet came free, but Giovanni Lucas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Chan Clet in the 88th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Giovanni Lucas saved SALIMEN from getting behind. The audience was convinced that Chan Clet's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Giovanni Lucas was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. After some careless play in the SALIMEN defense, Chan Clet kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Giovanni Lucas. The SALIMEN fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Giovanni Lucas should have stopped the shot.
