But to his dismay, Kauan Guerra quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a little luck, Clube Atlético Paulista's Alfredinho Velloso got control of the ball when Mitxel Abella tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to Clube Atlético Paulista getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Severino Soares hit a great ball. Severino Soares took the ball and in the 13 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Firme Abaunza. Firme Abaunza dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Richie Abellaneda's late challenge caught a Clube Atlético Paulista's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Richie Abellaneda helped the player get up and apologised. In the 19th match minute, Munat Tayka was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Richie Abellaneda to maneuver through the defense. If Eduardo Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 21 played minutes Munat Tayka got a freekick which was hit by Rico Abad. In the 22nd minute, Severino Soares made a precise shot to the right of Firme Abaunza. Munat Tayka's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-3. 26 minutes into the match, Munat Tayka's goal looked a bit too open when Kauan Guerra came free, but Firme Abaunza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Munat Tayka's Firme Abaunza played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Augusto Paranaense in the 28th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Soares in the 32nd minute of play forced Munat Tayka's goalkeeper Firme Abaunza to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 minutes, Severino Soares made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Munat Tayka's Firme Abaunza tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 35 played minutes Munat Tayka got a freekick which was hit by Rico Abad. 36 minutes into the match, Augusto Paranaense notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of Munat Tayka's Firme Abaunza. Firme Abaunza was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Firme Abaunza showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Severino Soares in the 40th minute of the match. 41 minutes into the match, Munat Tayka's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Soares came free, but Firme Abaunza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eduardo Cabral took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 44th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Firme Abaunza. Munat Tayka's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. After a rather tough play, Munat Tayka's Ur Abenda got a free kick in the 47th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-5 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Severino Soares was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute Ruperto Abeitia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredinho Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Alfredinho Velloso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ur Abenda, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Evaristo Gaúcho hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. After 62 minutes, Rico Abad mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Munat Tayka and the Clube Atlético Paulista players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Munat Tayka fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 61st minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 63 minutes, Clube Atlético Paulista's Marquinhos Pena got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Firme Abaunza. When Severino Soares came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Clube Atlético Paulista fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Severino Soares couldn't finish the play. In the 73rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Clube Atlético Paulista's goalkeeper Alfredinho Velloso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Severino Soares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Firme Abaunza made a huge save. A collision led to Munat Tayka getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ur Abenda hit a great ball. Firme Abaunza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Severino Soares, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. 83 minutes into the match, Munat Tayka's goal looked a bit too open when Kauan Guerra came free, but Firme Abaunza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mitxel Abella received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Alfredinho Velloso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Firme Abaunza made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Paranaense in the 88th minute of play. Mitxel Abella charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mitxel Abella the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mitxel Abella hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. 93 minutes into the match, Munat Tayka's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Soares came free, but Firme Abaunza reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Firme Abaunza took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augusto Paranaense, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Clube Atlético Paulista walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
