The Plan B fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Firmani got free with Örjan Andersson in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Folke Flink recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Folke Flink in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arrigo Capone prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Plan B's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Michael Stipe in the 29th minute. Michael Stipe made a great header on Plan B's corner, it was just that Gonzo Style f.c's Arrigo Capone managed to reach the ball for a save. Gonzo Style f.c's Arrigo Capone played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bennvar Nikkinen in the 39th minute of play. Plan B's Örjan Andersson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Plan B from getting a goal against them. Plan B's supporters crossed their fingers, but Folke Flink was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Arrigo Capone tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 67 minutes into the match, Folke Flink dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arrigo Capone, 0-2. Gonzo Style f.c's Arrigo Capone proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Gonzo Style f.c from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Plan B getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Folke Flink hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Folke Flink in the 80th minute of play forced Gonzo Style f.c's goalkeeper Arrigo Capone to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Plan B's Folke Flink was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 80th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Alvise Pezzi lost his temper 83 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Folke Flink scored 0-4 in the 87th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arrigo Capone, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Augusto Vieri fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gonzo Style f.c's protests and gave Augusto Vieri a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute Folke Flink shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arrigo Capone saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Plan B eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
