Spectators: 7478 (Terracing: 5610, Seating: 1719, VIP seats: 149) Manfredi AFC's Pablo Cordeal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Brett Leeson in the 7th minute of play forced Manfredi AFC's goalkeeper Emiliano Sancho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 13 minutes, Den Newland managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barr Point's supporters crossed their fingers, but Den Newland was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 15th minute, Den Newland left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Barr Point fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. Emiliano Sancho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Den Newland, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Emiliano Sancho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Brett Leeson in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24th match minute, Manfredi AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jacobo Pelayo to maneuver through the defense. In the 26th minute Den Newland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Emiliano Sancho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 31 played minutes Barr Point got a freekick which was hit by Brett Leeson. 33 minutes into the match, Den Newland notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Manfredi AFC's Emiliano Sancho. Emiliano Sancho was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Brett Leeson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 42 played minutes Manfredi AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ariel Quirze. The Manfredi AFC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Barr Point were winning 0-3.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Brett Leeson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jacobo Pelayo hit a great freekick 50 minutes into the match. Brett Leeson was extremely unlucky when he, in the 57th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Emiliano Sancho was a little too slow when Den Newland got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 0-4. Brett Leeson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Sancho having to interfere. Den Newland sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pablo Cordeal in the 69th minute of play forced Barr Point's goalkeeper Jude Bonham to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 73 minutes into the game, Jose Iyan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Manfredi AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barr Point the free kick. Chris Bowler received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Emiliano Sancho came out and tried to block the shot, but Chris Bowler slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 75th minute. After 79 played minutes Barr Point got a freekick which was hit by Louis Hudson. The audience thought a goal was coming when Den Newland got free with Emiliano Sancho in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Barr Point's attentive Alfred Doona managed to snatch the ball when Jacobo Pelayo made a throw-in in the 85th minute of the game. Pablo Cordeal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Barr Point players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
