The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The goalkeeper, Cornelio Abadie, was totally fooled by Valdieri's Elia Mascitti, who 5 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Cleto Lizbeth sped through Valdieri's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo. 12 minutes into the match, Valdieri's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Lekubegi came free, but Aurelio Di Lullo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute, Cleto Lizbeth made a precise shot to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo. Valdieri's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. 19 minutes into the game, LA InDuStRiA INC's Cleto Lizbeth nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aurelio Di Lullo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonas Lekubegi in the 23rd minute of play forced Valdieri's goalkeeper Aurelio Di Lullo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Valdieri getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Elia Cicchini hit a great ball. The supporters of Valdieri booed when LA InDuStRiA INC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 25 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jonas Lekubegi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Fulvio Bozzelli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franco Sarnelli made in the 29th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Elia Cicchini immediately put the ball in play. 31 minutes into the match, Valdieri's goal looked a bit too open when Cleto Lizbeth came free, but Aurelio Di Lullo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cleto Lizbeth scored 1-4 in the 38th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Cleto Lizbeth came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the LA InDuStRiA INC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cleto Lizbeth couldn't finish the play. If Evelio Euloxu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute Cleto Lizbeth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Di Lullo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Cleto Lizbeth made a kick off. Aurelio Di Lullo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evelio Euloxu in the 54th minute. Valdieri's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Cleto Lizbeth scored to the left of an out of position Aurelio Di Lullo, making the score, 1-5. Valdieri's Aurelio Di Lullo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cleto Lizbeth in the 59th minute of play. 65 minutes into the match, Cleto Lizbeth notched a goal, 1-6, to the right of Valdieri's Aurelio Di Lullo. Aurelio Di Lullo was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aurelio Di Lullo was a little too slow when Cleto Lizbeth got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 68th minute. The score was now 1-7. Evelio Euloxu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 76th minute Cleto Lizbeth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Di Lullo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelio Di Lullo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cleto Lizbeth's shot from short distance in the 77th minute. After a rather tough play, LA InDuStRiA INC's Martin Iratxo got a free kick in the 78th minute. Cornelio Abadie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Attilio Fortunato, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. After some careless play in the Valdieri defense, Evelio Euloxu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aurelio Di Lullo. The Valdieri fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aurelio Di Lullo should have stopped the shot. Aurelio Di Lullo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleto Lizbeth in the 90th minute of play. Valdieri's defense didn't have a chance, in the 92nd minute, when Cleto Lizbeth scored to the left of an out of position Aurelio Di Lullo, making the score, 1-9. The Valdieri fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. LA InDuStRiA INC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
