The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jamie Mayfield stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd match minute, Barr Point was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chris Bowler to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Barr Point's Chris Bowler got a free kick in the 55th minute. When Den Newland fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barr Point's protests and gave Den Newland a yellow card for diving instead. After 59 played minutes Barr Point got a freekick which was hit by Alfred Doona.
