The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Emanuele Ranieri during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Emanuele Ranieri hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. 9 minutes into the game, Pablo Cordeal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Aurelio Di Lullo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Esteban Dolfos made in the 17th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Pablo Cordeal immediately put the ball in play. After 26 minutes, Jesus Loiola mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Manfredi AFC and the Valdieri players grew even worse after the yellow card. Jesus Loiola hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Attilio Fortunato in the 28th minute of play forced Manfredi AFC's goalkeeper Apolo Baladi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ariel Quirze recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aurelio Di Lullo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ariel Quirze went, in the 35th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Jose Iyan hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. After 39 played minutes, Valdieri's Emanuele Ranieri shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Apolo Baladi came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Valdieri reached it. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Attilio Fortunato to make the kick off. With a little luck, Valdieri's Aurelio Di Lullo got control of the ball when Ariel Quirze tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ariel Quirze received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Aurelio Di Lullo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th minute Pablo Cordeal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Di Lullo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the match was over Manfredi AFC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Valdieri throughout the match.
