With his leg Khodadad Khan managed to avoid a goal in the 9thth minute, when Fox Hunting Squad's Jorg Vrijdags fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Fox Hunting Squad's Thomas Tael got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some careless play in the Fox Hunting Squad defense, Oscar Näfver kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Robbin Panhuyse. The Fox Hunting Squad fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Robbin Panhuyse should have stopped the shot. The supporters of Terra Scaniae booed when Fox Hunting Squad was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Klaus Borginions didn't get a good kick on the ball. Robbin Panhuyse came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Terra Scaniae's Oscar Näfver. But to his dismay, Oscar Näfver quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Fox Hunting Squad's Robbin Panhuyse played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Anders Lingren in the 29th minute of play. 34 minutes into the game, Kasper De Cat recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Khodadad Khan. Kasper De Cat showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. Jorg Vrijdags could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Khodadad Khan made a huge save. In the 39th minute, Frans Hedling hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kent Gunnarsson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Jorg Vrijdags took the ball and in the 55 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Khodadad Khan. Khodadad Khan dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-3. After a rather tough play, Terra Scaniae's Frans Hedling got a free kick in the 73rd minute. After 78 minutes Terra Scaniae's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bart-Jan Allaert who took care of the corner kick. Bart-Jan Allaert made a great header on Fox Hunting Squad's corner, it was just that Terra Scaniae's Khodadad Khan managed to reach the ball for a save. Khodadad Khan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Steckens, who was totally free with the ball in the 83rd minute. In the 85thth minute of the game Victor Steckens who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Terra Scaniae's Khodadad Khan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Oscar Näfver came free with the goalkeeper in the 87th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Robbin Panhuyse could save by the left post. In the 87th match minute, Terra Scaniae was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Staffan Fribäck to maneuver through the defense. Khodadad Khan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorg Vrijdags, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Robbin Panhuyse showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kent Gunnarsson in the 90th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Oscar Näfver got free with Robbin Panhuyse in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Eddy Volders charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eddy Volders the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
